Melissa completed her 200+ hour teacher training with Happy Love Yoga RYS at Bending Bodhi. Originally from the northeast area of Philadelphia, PA, she studied biochemistry at Temple University, moved to NH in 2007 and has loved living in the seacoast area ever since! Melissa began practicing yoga in 2001 and after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and becoming a mom, she finds that yoga brings a wonderful combination of physical and mental therapy to her daily life. Interested in teaching the benefits of daily practice to her daughter and practicing together, Melissa pursued the yoga and mindfulness for children program at ChildLight in Dover in 2017 and Restorative Yoga – Yoga Nidra Training with YogaNH in 2019. She has loved the experience of sharing the benefits of yoga to people of all ages. Melissa encourages her students to continually look for the details, to stay lifelong learners, and practice over perfection.

Born and raised in Southern Vermont where she then decided to major in History and Philosophy at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky. After graduating college, she entered the corporate world working in insurance investments and retirement. Decided in 2000, that "Big Corporation" was not ideal for her life-style so she ventured back to Vermont in hopes for change. Once in VT she became a recreational specialist working with clients diagnosed with acute mental illnesses. During this period (2013) in her life, she acquired her yoga certification through Gillian Academy which is connected with the holistic healing department of Texas A&M in Houston, TX. Since 2013 she has instructed yoga classes at Jackson Gore, Okemo Mountain in VT and have organized many workshops regarding essential oils, yoga for mental illnesses, and meditation. Paige specializes in Hatha form however, she has integrated Vinyasa and Power into her practice. Currently Paige holds her 450 RYT and hopes to complete her 500 by the end of 2021. Paige has stated the question she often asked herself or gets asked "what is the teaching of yoga"? Yoga is not just a tentative work-out its a life-style that awakens the body and the soul by aligning the body to become balanced through-out. As Bryan Kist once stated; Yoga does not ask you to be more than you are. But it does ask you to be all that you are".

Sarah trained in Integral Hatha Yoga; in her classes you can expect time spent on hands, wrist and forearm stretching. Shoulder, heart opening and back bending with some hip and hamstring work. Leaving feeling stretched, stronger and centered. With having battled her own mind for years with anxiety, depression, grieving, and insecurities, yoga became the answer, no parameters and no expectations other than showing up. A major part of this practice is to widen perspective and throw judgements away, we all have wisdom and insight to offer. Which is why she makes it a priority to attend festivals, workshops and conferences all around the Western Hemisphere. Being in Cosmetology and skin care for almost 10 years now, she has seen what repetitive bad body postures and limited mobility standing hours on end can do to your body, which influences a lot of how she practices.

In her off time she studies Holistic Nutrition, a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals and planning to be Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition by 2021. She also spends ALOT of time smiling at her goofy Pekingese named Chewie. She looks to see the beauty in everything and live for human connections.
